Anushka Shetty,born on 7th November, 1980 in Mangalore, Karnataka. She is known among her close friends, as Sweety.
She graduated in Computer Applications from Mount Caramel College and also trained in Yoga by Bharat Thakur, and now takes yoga classes.

Anushka Shetty began her career as an actress in Telugu cinema as Sasha in Super (2005) with Sonu Sood and Nagarjuna. More success camewith Vikramarkudu (2006), Crohn's disease (2006) and Astram (2006).
Lakshyam (2007) did well, while Okka Magadu (2008) and Baladoor (2008) not so good. She made up for it with Souryam (2008) and Chintakayala Ravi (2008).
Their performance as Arundhati in Arundhati ,the supernatural and Flick Jejamma (2009) won her good reviews. Billa (2009), in which she acted with Prabhas as Maya has become a blockbuster. The year has just begun, waiting for other versions of Anushka to hit the theaters like Mahesh Babu and Varudu Singam.
